HIGHLIGHTING 2010!

What an amazingly challenging year this has been...filled with highlights and lowlights wrapped in God's wonderful grace. I’m awed at God’s faithfulness in my life and in the outreach ministry of SfTDC.
With all the challenges Llewellyn and I had to face as individuals, as a couple and as a family, I can honestly say that “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”
The Lord has crowned this year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance.
What incredible blessings we experienced during this year: 2010!

Live life skillfully!

A few years ago, Llewellyn and I sensed God guiding us to reach out to the young people in our community. Our children were much younger and as we looked around, we realized that there were no positive role-models our kids could look up to as they got older. We couldn’t just sit back and watch the degeneration of our youth.

I think that when you discover God’s goodness and the very depth of your soul recognizes and receives God’s awesome love, the natural thing is to want to let others know that life matters, and that their lives count!

We want to let our young children know that they don’t have to live broken lives like so many adults around them do, that there’s so much life to live from a very young age, that they don’t have to waste it away on drugs and substance abuse that seems to be the “in-thing” nowadays.

We want to let our young children know that the gifts, talents and abilities that God placed inside of them can be used to make a positive difference not just in their own lives, but also in the lives of those around them…

So with strong sense of conviction and after a series of happenings we registered as a no-profit organization and run outreach programs from our home for children, pre-teens, youth and young-adults. Our three children is part of our volunteer team and together help others live life skillfully!

Spring is almost here...

...and i can't wait...this Winter seemed so looooooooong...I love the beauty of Spring, but i cannot deny the importance of Winter, i realise. What kind of Spring will it be without the Winter-rains?
Without the storms of Winter, there cannot be a Spring...it's amazing how the dull Winter months can produce such amazing beauty in Spring...all the beautiful colours!
God is just so creative!
I believe God can use anything to teach us more about Him and move us into a meaningful relationship with Him-He even use colours...and with me? He especially use coulours!:)
